Vacancy notification for two SRF post under UGC-BSR faculty at Bharathidasan University

Bharathidasan University established in February 1982, and was named after the great revolutionary Tamil Poet, Bharathidasan. The research work going on in some of the departments and research centres Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Centre for Nonlinear Dynamics) are internationally recognized because of their high quality. Some of the research centres of the university are strongly supported by scientific agencies in India. The Centre for Nonlinear Dynamics is supported by DST and DAE and the National Facility for Marine Cyanobacteria is supported by DBT. 

Applications are invited for the selection of two SRF to work in the following project under the supervision of Prof A Ganapathi, UGC-BSR faculty, PI, Department of Biotechnology& Genetic Engineering, School of Biotechnology, Bharathidasan University, Thiruchirappalli

• Project title : Enrichment of Vitamin E in sesamum oil by transgenic approach
• Funding Agency :DBT
• Tenure : 3 year
• Position : SRF

• No of Post : Two
• Desired Profile :M.Sc/M.TechBiotechnology/Life Sciences/Botany with two year research experience in plant tissue culture and genetic engineering
• Stipend : Rs 16800/- pm
