Sankara Nethralaya (SN) is a not-for-profit missionary institution for ophthalmic care (i.e., an eye hospital) in Chennai, India. Vision Research Foundation (VRF) is its research unit. VRF is premier work in the areas of ocular infections, cataract, tumours, angiogenesis and genetic basis of eye diseases and pathobiology of other ophthalmic disorders.

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Research Associate under DBT Research Project entitled “miRNA in Retinoblastoma progression, biomarkers and novel Aptamer miRNA Therapeutics” (BT/01/CEIB/11/V/16) in the Department of Ocular Pathology.
