The CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology,Palampur (CSIR-IHBT) is one of the National Institute under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research which is an Autonomous Body. It is located on a 250 acres of land with the backdrop of snow-covered peaks of Dhauladhar Range in salubrious climate. The Institute is engaged in research and technology development programmes for sustainable management of bioresources of the Himalayas. 

Walk in Interview is scheduled to be held for selection of candidates in CSIR project at CSIR-IHBT, Palampur

Project title : 

• Natural products as affordable healthcare agents
• Plant Diversity:Studying adaptation biology and understanding/exploiting medicinally important plants for useful bioactives
• Exploration for making plants survive, develop and multiply under dark condition
• Technology for catechins and Theaflavins production from tea leaves

• Position : Project Fellow
• No of Post : 4
• Age : 28 years as on 15.10.14
• Stipend : Rs 12000/- pm and Rs 14000/- pm
• Desired profile :M.Sc in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/M.Tech in Biotechnology/M.Pharm (Pharmacology/Plant Physiology/Environmental Science with 55% marks)
