Excellent opening for Microbiologists at Bharathidasan University

Bharathidasan University established in February 1982, and was named after the great revolutionary Tamil Poet, Bharathidasan. The research work going on in some of the departments and research centres Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Centre for Nonlinear Dynamics) are internationally recognized because of their high quality. Some of the research centres of the university are strongly supported by scientific agencies in India. The Centre for Nonlinear Dynamics is supported by DST and DAE and the National Facility for Marine Cyanobacteria is supported by DBT. 

A walk in interview will be held at the Department of Microbiology, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli - 620 024, on October 15, 2014 at 11:00 am for the position of One Project Assistant in the DBT sponsored Indo- UK project entitled “Using flow Cytometry and genomics to characterize and optimize microalgal bacterial consortia cultivated on waste water to produce biomass for biofuel”.

• Position : One Project Assistant
• Duration : Two years
• Fellowship : Rs. 8,000/- pm (consolidated)
• Qualification : M.Sc. Microbiology (or) any other relevant discipline
