Research Associate position vacant under DBT project at GADVASU

Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) was established at Ludhiana by an act of the Punjab Legislature No. 16 of 2005 notified in the Punjab Government Gazette on August 9, 2005 and it started functioning w.e.f. April 21, 2006 for promoting livestock production, health and prevention of the disease(s) through integrated teaching, research and extension programme(s). 

Applications on plain paper are invited for the temporary post of Research Associate under the DBT funded project

• Project : Xanthosine treatment : A novel strategy to increase milk production and mammary stem cells
• Position : RA
• No of Post : One
• Emoluments : Rs 24000 + 20% HRA for 3 years
• Desired Profile : PhD in Animal Science/Biotechnology or any other relevant branch of Life Science or M.Sc in Biotechnology/Medical Microbiology/Biochemistry/Microbiology and  at least having 65% marks
• Preferred : Preference will be given to the PhD candidate having experience of working in the area of molecular biology

The eligible candidates should send an application and a brief bio-data mentioning their qualifications and experience. The application should carry attested copy of the certificates and a recent passport size photograph. The completed application in all respect should reach the office by 17.10.14. The candidates should appear for interview on 21.10.14 at 10.00 AM in the office of School of Animal Biotechnology
