The institute has on its staff highly qualified and experienced scientists working in the field of Biological, biochemical, Chemical and Physical sciences placed in long established departments of Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Biophysics, and the research sections on plant Molecular & Cellular Genetics, Animal Physiology, Immunotechnology and Environmental science

Bose Institute, Kolkata, invites application from Indian Citizens for one (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow in the SERB(DST) sponsored project entitled “Investigating the genome wide changes in Histone H3K27 acetylation and gene expression in rice during cold stress” under theguidance of Dr. Shubho Chaudhuri, Div. of Plant Biology (C.B). 

  • Fellowship : Rs. 12,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA
  • Age : Below 28 Years *(relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
  • Duration : The project is tenable for 3 years
