Rajiv Gandhi University (formerly Arunachal University) is the premier institution for higher education in the state of Arunachal Pradesh and has completed twenty five years of its existance. Late Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India, laid the foundation stone of the university on 4th February 1984 at Rono Hills, where the present campus is located.

Application are invited for one post of Senior Research Fellow to work under DRL sponsored research project entitled "Ethnobotanical exploration and phytochemical analysis of some poisonous plants of Arunachal Pradesh for strategic defence application"

• Position : SRF
• No of Post : One
• Desired Profile : Specialization in plant taxonomy and pharmacology with minimum period of two years of research experience in the field of medicinal plant chemistry, floristic and ethnobotany with minimum 2-3 research publications in peer reviewed journals in relevant area

• Tenure : Two years
• Fellowship : Rs 18000/- + 10% HRA
