Systematic research in Indian systems of medicine under the government patronage initiated with the establishment of Central Council for Research in Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy (CCRIMH) as an autonomous organisation of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in the year 1969. The Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM) started functioning independently from 10th January 1979.
Intending candidates fulfilling the following conditions may apply to work in a purely contractual post under research project.
- Title of the Project : Evaluation of Certain Unani Formulations on VEGFs and inflammatory cytokines in Lymphatic Filariasis (Daul feel)
- Name of the Post : Senior Research Fellow (Biochemistry)
- Number of posts : One
- Essential Qualifications :M.Sc (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences) from a recognized University with at least 2 year research experience in Biochemistry/ Immunology
- Desirable : Ph.D (Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Immunology), Passed NET/GATE Exam, Experience in handling elisa based Immunoassays, Basic Computer knowledge
- Age Limit : 35 years as on 31.10.14
- Salary : Rs 18, 000/- per month + HRA (as per ICMR rate)
- Tenure : Co-terminus with the duration of project
General Conditions:
- The appointment is purely on contractual basis for a maximum period of one year and renewable for one year depending upon the performance. This is a full time job and no private practice is allowed.
- Attested photocopies of certificates, pertaining qualification, experience, age and two photographs should be submitted along with the application.
- No TA/DA will be paid for the interview. The authority reserves the rights to accept or reject the candidature without assigning any reason thereof. Canvassing in any form render the candidate disqualified.
