Applications are invited from qualified individual for one post of JRF/SRF/RA, on Council of Scientific and industrial research (CSIR) sponsored research project dealing with development and application of Next generation sequencing based methods to study Eukaryotic gene regulation (CSIR/No.37(1621)/14/EMR-II).
Position :JRF/SRF/RA
Stipend :
- JRF : Rs. 12,000/-pm plus HRA
- SRF : Rs. 14,000/-pm plus HRA
- Research Associate (RA) : Rs. 22,000/-pm plus HRA
Desired Profile :
- JRF : Possessing M.Sc in life sciences/Bioinformatics/Computational biology or equivalent degree with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE etc. Non NET/ Non GATE candidates need not to apply for JRF post.
- SRF : Possessing (i) M.Sc. in life Sciences/Bioinformatics/Computational biology or equivalent and at least 2 years of post-M.Sc in research/teaching experience as evident from published papers in standard refereed journals (ii) M.Tech in life Sciences/Bioinformatics/Computational biology
- Research Associate (RA) :: Possessing PhD in life Sciences/ Bioinformatics/computational biology or equivalent or 3 years of research experience after M.Tech in life Sciences/Bioinformatics/Computational biology.
Applicants should note that the appointment is purely temporary initially for one year starting from 1st October 2014 and subjected to renewal up to three years. There is no Right to Claim for any regular appointment with the University.
