National AIDS Research Institute [NARI] was established in October 1992 in Bhosari, Pune on a seven acre plot. The Institute has progressively expanded its activities in various aspects of research on HIV and AIDS through infra-structural development, capacity building & research programmes. The present infrastructure includes the Institute housed in a 28024 sq. mtr space, residential accomadation for the staff, a power plant to ensure uninterrupted power supply and an incinerator for safe disposal of bio-waste.

- Job Description : To estimate the expression of mi RNA biogenesis genes and proteins by qRT-PCR and western Blotting, to carry out HIV infectivity assays, to carry out cytokine estimation Assay in the samples from study participants
- Desired Profile : First class M.Sc. / M. Tech in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Zoology and in any other branches of Life Sciences.At least 2 years of experience on molecular biology techniques , tissue culture and immunological techniques
- Preferred : CSIR/UGC /DBT/ ICMR JRF/GATE/NET Qualified will be preferred, Prior experience with molecular technology, RNA isolation and characterization, confocal microscopy and immunological assays
- Stipend : Rs. 14000/- + 20% House Rent Allowances (HRA)
- Age : Below 30 years

- Job Description : Monitor the enrollment and follow up of the study subjects , to conduct the qRT-PCR using MicroRNA Assays, cytokine estimation and confocal microscopy assays, data analysis and report writing
- Desired Profile : Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Virology / molecular biology AND Ph.D. in the relevant field with more than three years postdoctoral research experience
- Preferred : 1st class in post graduation, Experience in confocal microscopy and knowledge of processes involved in enrollment and follow up in a cohort study
- Stipend : Rs. 22000/- + 20% House Rent Allowances (HRA)
- Age : Below 45 years
