Job Title : Microbiologist cum Chemist (quality Control)

Job Description :
- Sampling of all products being manufactured in the plant at specified frequency as per Quality plans.
- Testing of product at specified frequency as per Quality plans.
- Microbiological Testing of product at specified frequency as per Quality plan.
- Timely communication to Production department about any deviations found in the product/processes so as to prevent manufacturing of non-conforming product.
- Ensuring that necessary corrections have been made in Production after deviation & verifying the subsequent Quality of the product for conformance to requirements.
- Sharing of knowledge gathered in the company to relevant personnel as part of on the job training & continual improvement in company knowledge base.
- Trainings to freshly recruited chemists/lab personnel on product quality & test procedures.
- Training to shopfloor workers/packers about importance of maintaining quality in the product, maintaining cleanliness in their work place & usage of personal protective nose masks, shoes etc.
- Help in investigating customer complaints regarding quality & contribute to prevent re-occurence.
- Follow appropriate controls applicable to QC processes & procedures.
- Responsible for the accuracy & dependability of the test results performed by him.
- Conducting trials as required & providing necessary data.
- Maintaining records as applicable.
- Preparation of SOPs, other documents etc, as & when applicable.
- Monitoring inventories of QA testing related items & communicating to superior for any indents to be raised.
- Housekeeping of QA department on daily basis.
- Proper retention of product batch samples & its systematic storage.
- Careful use of Instruments& equipments & maintaining them in proper working order.
- Help in achieving the Quality Control objectives in cooperation with other plant personnel to maximize product reliability & minimize costs.
- Maintaining of QA related records.
- Additionally, contribute by ensuring that correct weight, correct pack size, correctly identified & clean packages of product are loaded for final dispatch. In case of any deviations, immediately communicate to Production personnel to make necessary changes before dispatch.
- Any other job assigned by the Superiors.
Eligiblity : B.sc / M.ScMicrobiology
Experience Required : 2-4 years
