The Indian Agricultural Research Institute is the country's premier national Institute for agricultural research, education and extension. It has the status of a 'Deemed-to-be-University' under the UGC Act of 1956, and awards M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in various agricultural disciplines. The growth of India's Agriculture during the past nearly 100 years, is closely linked with the researches done and technologies generated by the Institute.
The Principal Scientist & Head intends to recruit one Senior Research Fellow in the ICAR-funded Outreach Programme : “Strengthening of Wheat Programme in Central India (IARI-Regional Station, Indore)” purely on contractual basis. The interview of eligible candidates for the above post will be held on 20th September, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at IARI-Regional Station, Residency Area (Near College of Agriculture), INDORE–452 001 (M.P.).

- Essential qualification for the post : M.Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Pathology / Plant Breeding /Genetics.
- Desirable : (i) Experience of working with field crops; (ii) Basic computer skills.
- Emoluments for the post : Rs. 16,000/- + HRA as per rules.
