Project personnel required in Human Genetic Unit of ISI, Kolkata

Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), a unique P. C. Mahalanobish institution devoted to the research, teaching and application of statistics, natural sciences and social sciences. Founded by Professor P.C. Mahalanobis in Kolkata on 17th December, 1931, the institute gained the status of an Institution of National Importance by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1959

A Walk in Interview will be oncducted on 08.09.14 at 11.30 AM at Human Genetics Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata for recruitment of Project linked person purely on temporary basis to work in the project titled "Identification of DNA methylation biomarker" 

• Position : Project linked person
• Desired Profile : Master degree with consistently good academic research record in Biochemistry/Biophysics/molecular biology/Genetics. Experience in molecular biology and Cell Biology techniques will be preferred
• Pay : Rs 15000/- per month
• Job Description : To assist investigator for regular molecular biology and Cell Biology experiments and collection of biological samples from different hospitals

• Tenure : Till 31 march 2015
• Age : 35 year as on 01 Aug 2014 (Relaxation as per GOI rules)
