Job Description/Primary Duties:

  • Achieve annual sales targets, volume, value and gross profit
  • Promote DuPont (Genencor) branded products and image
  • An outstanding combination of intellect, energy and team skills
  • Proven negotiating & selling skills
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Expands contacts at major accounts and build good relation with key accounts
  • Liaise with supply chain group, production and Sales team to ensure proper and smooth supply to customers
  • Maintain, Update, monitor and provide progress reports on pipeline sales project list
  • Excellent skill of problem solving and resolution
  • Strong Interpersonal communication skill
  • Create and maintain account profiles , account plans
  • Regularly introduce new products and concepts to customers to increase sales
  • Keep updates about business development activities, Competitive and market intelligence
  • Help to develop and implement marketing strategies, conduct market surveys as directed
  • Understand the market needs, able to do market assessment for new products and technology, financial assessment of needs and solutions provided.
  • Provide guidance/training to customers/Distributors regarding product selection and performance optimization
  • Develop joint plan with distributors for DuPont enzyme products selling, offering services, understand market scenarios, help to develop the strategy, keep follow up, monitor our business with them, understand business model etc.
  • Interpret and report the results
  • Provide customer technical support / Field trials – coordinate with DuPont enzyme Distributor Sales Team
  • Resolve customer issues and define unmet needs
  • Ensure all external/Internal customer queries are handled in a professional manner

Qualifications : Requirements (experience, education, skills, etc

  • Post Graduate or Graduate of Science background , Chem. Engineering ,Food Technologist, Sugar Technologist or related technical field with post graduate management degree will be preferable
  • 5-10 years experience in Sales, marketing and technical Service preferably in the enzyme industry, Alcohol/Starch Industry or a related field
  • A demonstrated track record of successful account and distributors management including negotiation skills
  • Must have strong skills in communications, building relationships, and teamwork
  • Ability and desire to accept increasing responsibilities
  • Willingness to travel
