The National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nagpur was established in 1958 as Central Public Health Engineering Research Institute (CPHERI), when environmental concerns were limited to human health with a focus on water supply/sewage disposal/ communicable diseases and to some extent on industrial pollution and occupational diseases.

For Engagement of Project Assistants level II & III under Sponsored Projects

• Position : Project Assistant Level II/III
• No of Post : Three
• Project title : Environmental Quality Assessment of Gem Stone Beach Resorts and Theme Park site at Muttukadu
• Desired Profile :M.ScBiotechnology
• Experience : Air, water and wastewater analysis and ability to prepare scientific reports with proficiency in computer
• Emoluments : Rs. 12,000/- per month OR Rs. 12,000/- per month OR Rs.14,000/-per month

• Position : Project Assistant Level II
• No of Post : One
• Project title : Nucleic acid based molecular tools for microbial source tracking
• Desired Profile :M.Sc (Microbiology/Biotechnology)
• Experience : Environmental Biotechnology
• Emoluments : Rs. 12,000/- per month
