SRF vacancy in ICAR Emeritus Scientist Scheme at CIBA

The Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA) is the nodal institute to cater to the needs of the brackishwater aquaculture sector of the country and has been a pioneer in nutrition and feed technology for brackishwater aquaculture. CIBA has developed indigenous shrimp feed technology for the tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) and successfully commercialized the technology to private entrepreneurs for commercial production

The following post is to be filled purely on temporary basis under ICAR Emeritus Scientist Scheme of this institute

• Position : Senior Research Fellow (SRF) — one post
• Project title : Improvement of banana shrimp F enneropenaeus merguiensis culture for scaling up production and popularizing its farming in Gujarat vis-a-vis white legged shrimp Litopenaeus vannamer
• Duration : Upto 30th November 2015 / co-terminus with the project
• Desired Profile : 1st class Masters degree in Fisheries Science / Aquaculture / Marine Biology / Zoology / Life Sciences / Biotechnology
• Emoluments : Rs.16,000/- + 30% HRA p.m.
