Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) works under Department of Defence Research and Development of Ministry of Defence. DRDO dedicatedly working towards enhancing self-reliance in Defence Systems and undertakes design & development leading to production of world class weapon systems and equipment in accordance with the expressed needs and the qualitative requirements laid down by the three services.
Applications from interested candidate are invited by the Director, Defence Research Laboratory, Post Bag No. 2, Tezpur-784 001 for the post of Junior Research Fellow in the disciplines/specialization as indicated below.

- Desired Profile : 1st Class M.Sc. in Biotechnology and 1st Class M.Sc. in Zoology& specialized in Entomology
- Age : Maximum of 28 years as on 01st March 2014 (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates).
- Tenure : Till 31-12-2015 (under a ongoing project)
- Stipend : Rs.16,000/- (HRA and Medical facilities are admissible as per rules).
