National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences is a multidisciplinary Institute for patient care and academic pursuit in the frontier area of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences. The Institute functions under the direction of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka. Several National and International funding organisations provide resources for research.
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of one post of “Senior Research Fellow” on adhoc basis for ICMR funded project entitled “Gray and white matter correlates of REM sleep behavior disorder and psychosis in Parkinson’s disease” under Dr. Pramod Kumar Pal, Professor in Department of Neurology and principal investigator.

- No of post : 1 (one)
- Desired Profile : M.Sc./PhD/ BTech with 3 years
- Experience : Experience in research, imaging data analysis
- Maximum age limit : 35 years for men, 40 years for women
- Emoluments : Rupees 20,000/-p.m +30% HRA
- Duration of the post : 03 (three years) Initial appointment will be made for a period of one year which be extendable for every year for three years or till the end of the project whichever is earlier depending up on the performance of the candidate
- Nature of work : The candidate will be involved in acquiring and Analyzing polysomnograpghy and MRI data.
