Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (TIFR), Mumbai hereby invites applicants for a Walk-in-interview for positions of Project Assistant and Project Fellow in the Middle School Science Curriculum Development Program.
- Position : PROJECT FELLOW – 2 positions
- Desired Profile : Candidates should have M.Sc. in any Physical Science or Biology with minimum 60% marks and one year experience relevant to this project (this may include research and/or teaching experience). Additional relevant specialized skills will be an asset. While candidates with a degree in any of the sciences will be considered, our preference is for one candidate with Physical Science degree and one with Life sciences. Fluency in English is required. The selected candidate is expected to provide support for field research as well as publications. Candidates should have a passion to work in education.
- Duration : The position is purely temporary, for one year in the first instance and extendable by one or two more years.
- Emoluments : Rs.12000/- p.m. to 16000/- p.m. depending on quality of skills and/or experience, with an annual enhancement of Rs. 1000/- per year upto maximum Rs. 16000/-p.m. House Rent allowance in lieu of government accommodation at the rate of 30% of the honorarium will also be paid.
- Age : Below 30 years. (relaxable up to five years in deserving cases)
- Position : PROJECT ASSISTANT - 1 Position
- Desired Profile : : Candidates should have a M.Sc. with 50% or more marks. Proficiency in English will be in asset. The selected candidate is expected to provide research assistance for the curriculum under development and help in designing and carrying out experiments.
- Emoluments : Rs. 10,000/- during the first year, Rs. 11,000/- during the second year and Rs. 12,000/- during the third year + HRA 30% in lieu of Government accommodation.
- Age : Below 25 years. (relaxable up to five years in deserving cases)
