IIHR spread its sphere of Research activities to the length and breadth of the Nation by establishing its experimental stations at Lucknow, Nagpur, Ranchi, Godhra, Chettalli and Gonikopal. Over the years these experiment stations have grown in size and today they stand as independent institutes, however, retaining the Chettalli and Gonicoppal under its fold. As of now, the IIHR has its main research station at Hessaraghatta, Bangalore with 263 ha of land and Regional experiment stations at Bhuvaneshwar in Orissa and Chettalli in Karnataka with two Krishi Vigyan Kendras both located in Karnataka state at Gonikopal in Kodagu and Hirehalli in Tumkur districts. Apart from this the Project Coordinating Cell of the All India Coordinated Research Project on Tropical Fruits is also located at the institute at Bangalore.

- Position : SRF

- Project title : RKVY Project Entitled “Characterization of RET Medicinal Plants”
- Position : Research Assistant

- Desired Profile : M.Sc. in Microbiology/ Life Science/ Plant molecular biology/ Biotechnology/Biochemistry or Chemistry B.E. (Biotechnology with a minimum of 50% Marks.
- Experience : One year experience in any of following tissue culture and molecular biology, Chemical characterization of medicinal plants, in geo informatics, handling of sofwares related to mapping, Ecological niche modeling prediction etc.
- Salary : Rs.10,000/-(Consolidated)

- Project title : NMPB project on “Evaluation of pesticide residue and heavy metal contamination in selected medicinal plant materials and extracts”
- Position : SRF/JRF

- Salary : SRF : Rs.16,000/- PM + HRA (10%) for first and Second year Rs. 18,000/- PM + HRA (10%) for third year | JRF : Rs.12,000/- PM + HRA (10%) for first and Second year Rs. 14,000/- PM + HRA (10%) for third year
