The Bombay legislature of the erstwhile Bombay Presidency established the Karnatak University through the Karnatak University Act 1949. The University provides wide options and choices – 43 PG courses, 4 advanced diplomas and 28 diplomas, 11 certificate courses, 26 M.Phil. and 42 Ph.D. programmes.
Applications in the prescribed forms (in EIGHT SETS) are invited from qualified candidates of Indian nationality for the below mentioned posts in the Postgraduate Departments, K.U. Dharwad/Karwar/Gadag /Haveri and in Constituent Colleges of the University. A set of eight (8) prescribed application forms and Notification copy can be had from the “DIRECTOR, PRASARANGA, KARNATAK UNIVERSITY, DHARWAD-580003”, in person on presentation of challan for having credited the amount of Rs.400/- in the State Bank of India/Syndicate Bank, K.U. Campus, Dharwad, or by post duly sending a self-addressed stamped envelope (28x12 cms) duly affixing Rs.50/- Postal Stamp along with a crossed DD for Rs.400/- payable to the Finance Officer, Karnatak University, Dharwad–580003, or by downloading from University website www.kud.ac.in in which case the prescribed application fees of Rs.400/- will be payable through DD drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Karnatak University, Dharwad-580003.

Candidates may also submit their application in person in the Inward Section and obtain acknowledgement within the specified date and time.
