A walk-in-interview is scheduled to be held at Veterinary Bacteriology and Mycology division of the Institute on 25.04.2013 at 11.00 AM for engagement of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DBT funded project entitled “Identification of potential vaccine candidate antigens of Clostridium chauvoei”. The position is purely temporary on contractural basis and is co-terminus with the project. There will be no provision of absorption/ re-employment in IVRI/DBT on termination of the project. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview and no separate letter will be issued.

Duration of the project : For period up to May 2014.
Essential Qualifications : Master’s degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Life sciences with NET or equivalent qualification.
Desirable : Working knowledge in molecular biology, Microbiology and Biotechnology tools such as gene cloning, expression and purification of recombinant proteins, ELISA, handling of lab animals and analysis of data with computer skills.
Emoluments: Consolidiated Rs. 12,000 (1st and 2nd year) and Rs. 14,000 (3rd year) + HRA as per DBT norms.
Age limit : 35 years (relaxation for women and SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms).
